The cool thing about tapes/demos are sometimes you get some really cool looking shit with what appear to be clever concepts/ideas behind it and it turns out to be a good listen. The frustrating thing is when something looks good and actually isn’t. Sure, Wayne Shredsky isn’t the most brilliant joke ever, but I liked it. I like hockey though. Calling the songs “The Stanley Cup But Filled With Weed” b/w “Ice Bong” and “Puck Murder” and billing yourselves as “marijuana metal” is a great idea. The bad idea = the songs sound like three guys who aren’t sure how to play their instruments improvising some “heavy jams”. Not even good in a bad = good sense. Waste of a good idea fellas.
